GHK-Cu and Beauty Treatments: Managing Expectations

Read the transcript · 244 words

If one treatment promises better skin, stronger hair, faster healing, here's what I would actually expect. GHK is a hot topic right now. Especially for women who are starting to see a little bit of wrinkles, fine lines, hair might be thinning, recovery is slower.

And online, people like to present it like it's one answer for every problem. But this is what gets left out. A serum that you're putting on your face, that's going to be skincare.

A treatment that you're discussing with the medical staff inside a clinic is totally different. You need a proper health review, realistic expectations, and a follow-up. Yes, GHK is something that your body naturally makes, and researchers are interested in how it helps with repair, collagen, and elastin building to reverse aging.

That does not mean every claim online is going to be proven. It might be very helpful for the right person. For me personally, I love my results on GHK.

I'm seeing a difference in my hair and my skin. However, it's not an overnight facelift, and it's not going to promise me a full head of hair. It's also not going to replace not wearing your sunscreen, poor sleep, not eating enough protein, or skipping a very important medical evaluation.

So if you want the five questions I would ask a medical clinic, whether it's coming to us or someone else, comment the word skin down below and I'll send that over.

Read the transcript · 225 words

What is GHK? GHK is something your body actually already makes. And it might be the reason why your skin, hair, healing is not where you want it to be.

So GHK is actually a naturally occurring copper compound within our bodies. When you're young, levels are so much higher. Your body heals faster, skin looks plump, and your hair is way thicker.

But by the time you hit your late 20s, GHK starts to drop significantly. And this is when you start noticing the changes like aging, wrinkles, thinner hair, slower healing. GHK is actually used in a lot of high-end skincare products because of how powerful it is for collagen and elastin production However topical absorption only goes so deep people including myself We prefer different methods of taking it since it stimulates collagen and elastin production Which helps with skin firmness and elasticity So when

you take this compound it does help with the anti-aging because it helps our body with collagen and elastin production Which is great for plump smooth skin thicker hair and it has antioxidant properties that helps protect your cells from damage GHK is one of my holy grail compounds for skin and hair. Read the transcript · 190 words

Retinol is a 10. This is the gold standard for anti-aging skincare so it's going to help with those fine lines and wrinkles. If you're not using it, start yesterday.

Vitamin C is a 9 so it's incredible for brightening and fighting oxidative stress. Just make sure your formula is actually stable or it's going to be useless. GHK is a 100 out of 10.

This works on a cellular level. It's going to signal to your skin to produce collagen and elastin which is generally the best thing you can do for anti-aging. Niacinamide is 8.

It's amazing all-arounder for your pores, redness, your skin barrier. It's great for layering with everything else. AHAs and BHAs are 9 because exfoliation, that's going to be everything especially for resurfacing your skin.

This is what actually lets all your other products absorb properly. Collagen supplements are 110. So you can put on all the creams you want on the outside.

Your skin doesn't really actually absorb collagen from the outside. So feeding your body collagen from the inside, taking an actual supplement is where you're going to get the real benefits.

Skincare Routines, Probiotics and GHK-Cu Compared

Read the transcript · 155 words

Bad? Good, excellent. 12-step routine is bad.

If you're putting 12 different products on your face, that's a hundred of different chemicals that your skin is absorbing. That's actually going to cause so much inflammation and damage to your skin barrier. A lot of dermatologists that I talk to recommend a minimal routine.

Probiotics? Good. Probiotics are going to help your gut health, which allows better nutrient absorption and it's going to help with inflammation.

However, if your diet sucks and you're consuming things like alcohol or really high sugars, then probiotics are just a band-aid. Excellent GHK. To me this is my personal favorite for overall skin health.

I think it's the fountain of youth. It's known for tissue repair and collagen and elastin production which is going to make your skin look firm, smooth, and youthful. If you have any questions about your skin health drop me below and I'll personally reach out.

GHK-Cu Injection Stinging: A Discussion of Discomfort

Read the transcript · 185 words

Everyone knows taking GHK stings like sh**, but here's what you can do to minimize that pain. Number one, you can leave it on the counter and get it closer to room temperature. So after you put it in the syringe, just put it on the counter, let it sit for a little bit and then inject it.

When it's colder, it does sting more. Number two, switch up where you inject. So alternate sides.

If you do your belly, try your glute, try your right side of your belly. So switch it up so it's not hitting the same spot over and over again. Number three, apply an ice pack to the injection site.

Five to ten minutes, prior before taking it, this can help numb it and reduce the pain. And number four, so this one doesn't exactly help the sting when you inject, but it can help the overall inflammation and like swelling that you might experience throughout the day, is you can take another peptide called KPV.

So this one will help inflammation and help the overall swelling on the site.
