What Is NAD+? Cellular Energy and Aging Explained

Read the transcript · 239 words

What is NAD+, if you're aging faster than you should be and your energy is just so low, there could be something that could help. NAD+, is a co-enzyme that lives in every single cell of your body. Brain, muscles, heart, immune system, every single thing runs on NAD+.

When we're born, we only have a limited amount of NAD. Unfortunately, our bodies aren't producing more. So by the time you hit your late 20s, almost half of your NAD is already gone.

and that is what's triggering your aging process. But here's one of my favorite things about NAD+, and this is why I think it's so great. It activates longevity genes, which is proteins responsible for repairing DNA, controlling inflammation, and keeping metabolism running the way it should be.

So when you take NAD, you're not just getting more energy. Every single cell in your body is getting what it needs to not just repair itself, but protect your brain, improves insulin sensitivity, helps with weight management, supports muscle recovery, and most important, slow down your aging. This doesn't just circle around looking younger.

It's positively impacting the quality of life as you're aging, which means less chronic inflammation, better brain function, and your metabolism is going to work exactly how it should. NAD+: Why Some People Do Not Notice a Difference

Read the transcript · 302 words

Why don't some people notice a difference when they take NAD+. These are the most common things that I hear, but there could be four things that you're doing wrong. Number one, how you're taking it.

If you're taking it as a pill or a powdered form, your stomach acid is just breaking all of it down before it even reaches a cell. So you're basically getting scammed. Taking it as an IV or subcutaneously is always going to give your body better results because it goes straight into your bloodstream.

Number two, your NAD baseline could already be depleted. Think of it like this. If your NAD levels have been low for a long period of time, when you take it, your body's technically catching up.

Some people need to take it for at least 4-6 weeks before they start to notice a difference. Number 3, you're probably expecting the wrong thing. A lot of people, when they think of taking NAD, they think of like taking a shot of espresso, which it's not.

What you are gonna notice is more stability when it comes to your energy. You'll have less brain fog and more clarity. Recovery's gonna be better.

Sleep improves. It's very subtle at first, but if you take it consistently, you'll feel the benefits over time. And number four, this one's the most important.

Your whole lifestyle is just working against it. If you're someone who's chronically stressed, you have poor sleep, eating junk food, drinking alcohol, your body's just running through NAD way faster than how you can replenish it. If you want to talk to one of our nurse practitioners and see if NAD Plus is a good fit for you, comment balance down below and I'll connect you to our clinic built to be well.

Brain Fog in Women: Estrogen, Energy and Inflammation

Read the transcript · 236 words

If you have sent a text to the wrong person, forgotten your own copy order, or said, what was I saying, three times in mid-conversation, this video is going to be for you. These are the three main reasons all of this is happening to us women. Number one, estrogen is neuroprotective.

It literally supports how your brain functions, how quickly you're processing information, and how clearly you think. As estrogen is going down, your cognitive sharpness is declining with it. Most women are told it's just anxiety, but it's actually hormones.

Number two, your brain is using the most energy out of any organ in our body. When your mitochondria, the powerhouse of the cell, starts losing efficiency in your 30s or as we get older, your brain is what's going to feel it first. The less cellular energy just means your brain is processing things slower, memories getting worse, and it just feels like you're hitting a wall.

Number three, chronic inflammation directly interferes with how your brain's functioning. Poor sleep, blood sugar swings, and hormonal shifts all drive chronic inflammation. If you're experiencing brain fog, it is more serious than what you think it is because your body is telling you something is off.

So if you're struggling with brain fog and you want the wellness protocol that myself and our patients use, comment balance down below and our clinic will reach out.

NAD+, Fatigue and Brain Fog: A Cellular Energy Overview

Read the transcript · 186 words

What is NAD+, if you are just constantly exhausted, have all this brain fog, or just feel like you might be aging a little too quickly, your cells might be starving for what's called NAD+. NAD+, is a co-enzyme found in every single cell of your body. It is literally what your mitochondria uses to create energy.

The problem is, as we age, natural NAD levels drop by 50%. When NAD+, drops, your energy levels drop, your metabolism slows down. And the most important one is your DNA stops repairing as efficiently.

Clinical studies show repairing NAD levels work at a cellular level to turn all of that back on. People love it so much because it helps clear that brain fog. It helps give you this nice energy throughout the day.

And the best part, it slows down cellular aging. So if you were like me, someone who used to rely on three to four cups of coffee just to get through the day, comment balance below to learn more about cellular health and how our clinic at Built to Be Well approaches natural energy.

What Is Glutathione? Antioxidants Explained

Read the transcript · 149 words

Everyone's talking about glutathione, but what actually is it? Glutathione is hands down the best antioxidant. Your body naturally produces it in the liver, and its main job is to sweep through your cells, grab onto toxins, heavy metals, free radicals, and flush them out of your system.

Benefits of taking it is your immune system gets stronger, your energy goes up, and your skin gets this crazy beautiful glow because it's reducing oxidative stress. But here's the catch. If you're buying cheap glutathione pills on Amazon, your stomach acid is just going to destroy it before it reaches your bloodstream.

Clinical studies show that taking it orally, it's terrible. That's why injecting it intramuscular or subcutaneously is the best way for your body to absorb it. When you inject it, it bypasses the gut, goes straight to the cells where it can actually do what it's supposed to.
