Gratitude and Ambition: Building a Healthier Mindset

Read the transcript · 140 words

People get so weird when I talk about how you can still be grateful for your life and still want more. There's nothing wrong with wanting to become a better version of yourself. Wanting to grow more.

No matter where you're at in life, whether you're far or still trying to progress. If you have people who are trying to nerf your dreams and ambitions, you talk about something and they're like, why aren't you grateful? Those are people that are done.

You need to cut them off. They are going to hold you back and they are anchors in your life. If you're at peace and if you're happy with exactly where you're at in life, that is great.

but don't project and anchor your beliefs onto others who truly want more from themselves and are striving for more

Hormone Imbalance Symptoms: Sleep, Energy and Mood

Read the transcript · 135 words

How well do you know your hormones? Trouble falling asleep. Progesterone.

Because it supports calming signals in the brain, changing levels can affect sleep. Waking up hot and sweaty. Estrogen.

Because having imbalanced estrogen can affect how your brain processes your body temperature. Tired all day but wide awake at night. Cortisol.

Because when you're super stressed out, that's going to affect your appetite, where you store fat, and your sleep cycle. Chin acne and new facial hair. Androgens.

Because when you do have higher levels, it increases oil production on your face and it increases your hair thickness so you get the little black hairs. Always cold, tired, and constipated. Thyroid, because having a low thyroid or hypothyroidism can affect several processes in your body.

For example, your metabolism, your body temperature, your digestion.

Fatigue With Normal Lab Results: A Hormone Discussion

Read the transcript · 220 words

I'm tired all the time, but I think it's just me getting older. Feeling exhausted in your 30s is common, but it's definitely not normal. Hormones are directly correlated to your energy, and when that's declining, you're gonna feel it.

My doctor ran my labs and said everything's normal. Most doctors are trained to keep you out of disease range, not to optimize your hormones. A real hormone wellness clinic will look at your hormone levels completely differently.

I'm too young to have hormone issues. Hormones start declining in your late 20s. By mid-30s, most women are already feeling it.

I should just eat better, exercise more, and whatever's going on is gonna fix itself. You are not out training a hormonal deficit. Sure, diet and training can help support your hormones, but they are not replacing what your body has stopped producing.

Hormone therapy is for women who are only going through menopause. That is one of the most damaging myths in women's health. Hormonal support should be available for any woman whose hormones are not where they need to be.

If you said yes to even one of these, your body is screaming for help. Comment balance down below and I'll personally reach out to send you our clinic's contact form to connect with one of our MPs.

Hormone Health: Comparing Common Wellness Approaches

What things women do for their hormones that are most likely actually gonna work? Ignoring your hormones completely and just assuming that exhaustion, weight gain, poor sleep, mood swings are just part of getting older and completely normal. Those are all red flags, F tier response.

In D tier, we have seed cycling. I mean, I get it, it's effort, I respect it, it takes consistency, but sprinkling flaxseed on your yogurt is not gonna do it. Moving up into C tier, this is when you start seeing improvement.

This is cutting out alcohol, managing sugar, exercising regularly, and managing your stress. This actually matters a ton. Cortisol directly affects how your hormones are being balanced, and most women are inflamed and don't even know it.

B tier, prioritizing sleep and strength training. Your body produces and regulates hormones during deep sleep. Muscle mass also improves insulin sensitivity and your metabolic health.

These two things should be a non-negotiable for your overall health and wellness and hormone balance. A tier, actually understanding your labs and getting your body clinical support when needed. And not becoming an AI doctor or having chat GPTs to help diagnose you, but getting your labs done so you know exactly what's happening internally, that way you can address it at the source.

The women I work with who feel their best aren't doing the most. They're doing the proper things for their specific needs of what's going on in their body, and that's truly the secret. understanding what's going on internally and making improvements from there.

How does JLo look better at 55 than she did at 35 and can she give us the blueprint? I'm going to break this down because it is not just blessed with genetics. Jennifer has had top tier access to doctors who are tracking her hormones, tracking her health, just like how financial advisors will track your portfolio.

So the moment something shifts within her, estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, the doctors are on it. Not just when it becomes symptomatic, way before that. So while the average woman is dealing with collagen dropping 1% every year and just buying another skincare to try and fix it JLo's body is given everything internally to continue producing it on top of that She has growth hormone support, which is the fountain of youth So her body's still repairing her skin

burning fat and it's recovering just how it was in her 30s So this one's huge her cortisol is managed So she's not running around super inflamed and not destroying her collagen every single day So it's not like she's like fighting aging She's just staying ahead of it and giving her body exactly what

it needs by doing proper testing And the good news is this isn't some celebrity secret anymore And it's not totally out of reach for the average person This is just being proactive with your hormonal health care and yes, it does exist It's just staying ahead with your hormonal health care and most women

Women's Health Lessons: Understanding Your Body

Read the transcript · 312 words

Health lessons your parents never taught you. Nobody taught you the rules of your body. My parents didn't either.

And so a lot of us keep suffering thinking it's normal. But let's talk about seven things to completely change how your health works. Your 20s are not for ignoring your body.

They are for building what you want your future to look like. So the habits you're setting now in your 20s are going to determine what your 40s are going to feel like, what your skin is going to look like, and essentially just how you're going to be aging. If a skincare product is not working from the inside out, it is just an expensive moisturizer.

And if energy is crashing mid-afternoon, yes, that is a flag that something's going on. It could be blood sugar, it could be hormones. Most of your cravings are not actually hunger.

Cravings are actually signals from hormone imbalances and nutrient deficiencies. Tips to get through it, try just waiting, eat some protein, drink some water, see how you feel in a little bit. Health only improves if your knowledge about your health improves.

You cannot out-supplement a bad lifestyle. Ladies, start paying attention to your cycle early on. Irregular cycles are not normal.

That is a telltale sign something's going on. And nobody pays attention until hormones are just all over the place and you feel the effects. A single year of ignoring your body can take three to five years of undoing.

Women are not lazy or selfish for wanting to feel good and for wanting to take care of themselves. And it is so important for us women to understand how our body works. And unfortunately, we don't take classes to actually learn how to do that.

So please educate yourself. And that also empowers you to advocate yourself when needed.

Hormone Imbalance Symptoms and HRT: An Overview

Read the transcript · 268 words

If you're tired all the time and you're gaining weight even though nothing has changed, you're feeling anxious for no reason and your sex drive is down, you probably are feeling like something's wrong with you. You might be right, your hormones could be absolutely wrecked. So I want you to think of hormones like batteries within your body.

When the battery is full, hormones are great, you're feeling great. When batteries run out, everything stops working at the same time. This is what might be happening to you.

HRT which stands for hormone replacement therapy is putting the batteries back in There are three main hormones that we're going to be talking about Estrogen is your skin, brain, mood When that drops you get brain fog and your skin starts aging fast Progesterone is sleep and just calmness When that drops you cannot

sleep and you feel anxious all the time Testosterone is your energy, drive, muscle And yes ladies we need testosterone too When testosterone drops, and trust me, I know this personally, you feel like a completely different person. When hormones are low, your body cannot function the way it's supposed to. And research is really clear on this.

Women who get their hormones optimized have way more energy, better metabolism, stronger bones, and just an overall better quality of life. And this isn't new science. Doctors have actually just been really slow to talk about how important this is.

If you're interested about knowing what your lab work looks like, drop me below and I'll connect you to our clinic built to be well.
